Malek Akkad Interview for HelLA Horror Night’s Orange Carpet

Malek Akkad:

Malek Akkad is the son of the late Moustapha Akkad, executive producer of the original Halloween franchise. Akkad followed in his father's footsteps and served as an associate producer on Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers and Halloween H20: Twenty Years Later. He was a co-producer on 2002's Halloween: Resurrection and became a full producer, helming the relaunch of the franchise with the 2007 Rob Zombie film Halloween. Akkad was also the executive producer behind the film.

HelLA Horror Night:

Celebrities sweep the Orange Carpet at the Historic Los Angeles Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles in benefit three amazing non-profits – The Rock Against MS Foundation, sCare Foundation and Fur & Feather Animal Sanctuary. Legendary Comic-con favorites from movies and TV to comedians and Rock Stars came out to play at this Spooktacular charity event.

Halloween (2018):

Laurie Strode comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.
