First there was an opportunity……then there was a betrayal. Twenty years have gone by. Much has changed but just as much remains the same. Mark Renton (Ewan McGregor) returns to the only place he can ever call home. They are waiting for him: Spud (Ewen Bremner), Sick Boy (Jonny Lee Miller), and Begbie (Robert Carlyle). The next chapter in the lives of a quartet of Scottish junkies (Ewan McGregor, Robert Carlyle, Jonny Lee Miller and Ewen Bremner) in which they swear off heroin in favor of careers in pornography. All four cast members from the 1997 cult hit rejoin original director Danny Boyle (Steve Jobs) for this sequel based on Trainspotting author Irving Welsh’s 2002 novel Porno.
