Denis Villeneuve; (born October 3, 1967) is a French Canadian film director and writer. He is a four-time recipient of the Canadian Screen Award (formerly Genie Award) for Best Direction, for Maelström in 2001, Polytechnique in 2010, Incendies in 2011, and Enemy in 2013. The first three films also won the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television Award for Best Motion Picture.

Internationally, he is best known for his critically acclaimed crime-thriller films, including Prisoners (2013) and Sicario (2015), and the science fiction drama Arrival (2016), the latter of which received 8 Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture and Best Director.

Harrison Ford:
Is an American actor and film producer. He gained worldwide fame for his starring roles as Han Solo in the Star Wars film series and as the title character of the Indiana Jones film series. Ford is also known for his roles as Rick Deckard in the neo-noir dystopian science fiction film Blade Runner (1982); John Book in the thriller Witness (1985), for which he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor; and Jack Ryan in the action films Patriot Games (1992) and Clear and Present Danger (1994).

Ryan Gosling:
Is a Canadian actor and musician. He began his career as a child star on the Disney Channel's The Mickey Mouse Club (1993–1995) and went on to appear in other family entertainment programs including Are You Afraid of the Dark? (1995) and Goosebumps (1996). His first starring film role was as a Jewish neo-Nazi in The Believer (2001), and he went on to star in several independent films, including Murder by Numbers (2002), The Slaughter Rule (2002), and The United States of Leland (2003).

Sylvia Hoeks:
Is a Dutch actress, during high school she was scouted by Elite models, and she started travelling as a model all around Europe for a couple of years. After finishing high school she attended the Maastricht Theatre Academy. Right after graduation she made her national breakthrough with the Jos Stelling film Duska (2007). She won a Golden Calf (the Dutch equivalent of the Oscars) at the annual Netherlands Film Festival. In 2011, Sylvia was presented at the Berlinale as Shooting Star, a unique Pan European initiative which puts a spotlight on Europe’s best actors. Her international breakthrough in 2013 was after working with the Oscar-winning director Giuseppe Tornatore in his film The Best Offer starring opposite Geoffrey Rush.

Ana de Armas:
De Armas made her acting debut in 2006, portraying the role of Marie on Una rosa de Francia, starring with Alex Gonzalez. At the age of 18, she moved to Spain. Her first major television success there was the Spanish TV series El Internado, in which she starred as Carolina Leal, airing on Antena 3 in 2007. She later continued her career in the film Mentiras y gordas (2009), the TV series Hispania, la leyenda (2010–2012), and Blind Alley (2011).

Mackenzie Davis:
Davis was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. She attended McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. She went on to study acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City, and was soon discovered by Drake Doremus for her acting debut in the feature film Breathe In. In 2015, she appeared in The Martian as a NASA satellite communications engineer named Mindy Park. In June 2016, Davis was cast in an undisclosed role in the Blade Runner sequel.

Dave Bautista, the professional wrestler-turned-action-star, is a good actor, but his talents are underused. As Drax in both Guardians of the Galaxy movies, Bautista is never more than the a supporting act to help deliver the punchline. In a new short film published today ahead of Blade Runner 2049’s release, Bautista finally gets his chance to demonstrate what he’s capable of.

Blade Runner 2049 is the sequel to Ridley Scott’s groundbreaking sci-fi film from 1982. The film takes place 30 years after the events in the original. A new Blade Runner, LAPD Officer K, must find Rick Deckard after unearthing a secret that could destroy society as they know it.
